• Before you leave home ensure you wrap up warm as some of our locations are exposed to the elements or may not have heating.  Some locations may have a little walk from the car parking areas so make sure you have enough layers, it's easier to remove a layer than add another. Remember to bring a torch.

• You've arrived!! - One of our friendly team will be waiting for you as you arrive and will show you where to park.  You will be welcomed by our friendly team who will take your name and check you off the list.

• Our team will show you where to enter the building safely.  Please stick to paths directed by the team as this is for your personal safety and well-being.

• Often there are uneven paths and passages and a fall or bruise before the event even starts will not make for a good night.  

• Welcome, welcome, welcome!  Our fab team will guide you to our "base room". This is your safe haven for the night where you can leave your coats, bags and anything else you have brought with you.  The base room is a secure location where all the doors will be locked during the investigation, therefore your belongings will be perfectly safe.

• Yes, you are in a paranormal lock down within a haunted building.  Those who smoke or vape however will be shown to the place they can do this safely outside. 

• The team will give you a short discussion about health and safety and any other relevant location information so please listen carefully as this is strictly to keep you and your group safe from any accidents or incidents. Any guest found to be not adhering to this advice could result in an injury or being ejected from the event.

• Snacks, hot and cold drinks are provided so please take full advantage of these. The base room is your safe place to return to during breaks or if anyone feels a little scared or unwell, we have first-aiders on all events and the team will take good care of you.   

• Now we begin - are you ready? Now we do things a little differently at "Into The Shadows".  The night is yours however our expert team will be there to lead you through the investigation. Each team will investigate a different area of the location and will carry out different experiments too, you as a guest will be given the choice where you want to go and what you do.  If you decide you loved one of the areas and/or experiments, you will be given the choice to go back to that same area or to get the most out of your event, you may choose to visit all the areas on offer.  Ultimately, what you do on the night, will be your choice.

• The night will be split into 2 or 3 sections depending on the size of the location and depending on how long we have overall.  Each section will be approx. 1.5 hours then we will take a short comfort break.

• Location permitting you may be allowed some free time at the end of the event to explore on your own.  We will inform you at the start of the night if free time is allowed at that location.  Our team will still be on hand to look after you.   Ensure you keep an eye on the time as you really wouldn't want to be locked in some of our spooky locations. 

• At the end of the night our team will be waiting at the door to say our goodbyes. It is hoped you will have a fantastic time with us, we believe that we will see you again soon! 

• Please do try to leave each location as quietly as possible in order to avoid causing any disturbances to neighbouring properties.

• Please ensure that for your own well-being and of those around you that if you have a long drive home, you take into account how much energy you will have at the end of a long night.  You will be tired and you may experience paranormal fatigue (or in ghost hunting terms - a paranormal hangover).  You may wish to make a weekend of it and book a stay-over.  In all seriousness though, tiredness can kill so if you are driving home, please take regular breaks.
